What is Masterclass? Masterclass is a monthly training experience offering aspiring entertainment people access to exclusive and practical career lessons by veterans in the entertainment industry.

Masterclass sessions are informal where real stories, relatable experiences and pro tips are shared to help aspiring actors navigate the industry and build profitable careers. It's not your regular (boring) school. This is real life!

About Ramsey Nouah


Ramsey Tokunbo Nouah Jnr. began his acting career in 1990. His most widely recognised debut appearance as Jeff in popular Nigerian television soap opera, Fortunes, quickly established him as an act to watch. Since then, he has captivated audiences across Africa and beyond with his award-winning performances in hits such as Silent Night (1996), Dangerous Twins (2004), Figurine (2009) and most recently, the hit historical movie, ’76 (2014), among many others.

In 2014, he was unveiled as the first and only Nigerian Actor on the laudable Nigerian Oscars Selection Committee. Recognised for his excellent work and with a burning passion to contribute to the growth of the Nigerian entertainment community, Ramsey Nouah decided to expand his portfolio to include directing and producing, which led to the launch of his movie production company, Ramsey Films. In his new capacity as producer/director, he acted and directed Last Caller, directed Brewed in Rwanda, co-directed 30Days in Atlanta (2014), as well as produced and acted in Elephant in the Room (2012). In the same year (2014), he gave a speech to the business community on entertainment at the globally recognised World Economic Forum, Switzerland. Later that year, he received the Outstanding Industry Contributors Award by Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF). He has also been involved with the Cameroon International Film Festival (CAMIFF).

Ramsey Nouah is also passionate about giving back to the community; a passion which has earned him recognition by the united Nations for his philanthropic works.

A few of his awards include FNEI UK Best Actor in English Film (2003, 2004), City People Awards of Excellence Best Actor (2004), Nigeria Entertainment Awards (NEA) Nollywood Best Actor (2007), Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) Best Male Actor Awards (2010), Naija Awards Best Actor (2010), Ghana Movie Awards Best Actor African Collaboration (2011), Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards (GIAMA) People's Choice Awards (2012), Nollywood Movie Awards Viewer's Choice Awards (2012), among others.

About Tope Oshin

TOPE OSHIN – CEO, Sunbow Productions/ Director/Producer

Tope Oshin is a multiple award-winning motion picture professional.

She studied theatre arts, T.V & Film Production at the Lagos State University, Nigeria, and then Filmmaking at Colorado Film School, USA. She is an alumnus of Berlinale Talents and Talents Durban 2015.

Tope is a seasoned director having directed 350 episodes of Africa's biggest daily soap opera, Tinsel since inception, and 96 episodes of popular African tele-novella, Hotel Majestic. Other credits include multiple award-winning films, and documentary on female directors in Nigeria and the gender divide, Amaka’s Kin -The Women Of Nollywood.

Among her producing credits are 26 made-for-TV movies, talk shows, the soap opera, Tinsel (as Box/Content Producer) and 2015 BFI premiered theatrical feature Fifty (Nigeria’s highest grossing box office movie in 2015), amongst others. Within her experience as Supervising Producer and Production Consultant, she has accepted and reviewed over 40 screenplays from writers and filmmakers in readiness for production. She has also been consulted, and supervised the production of over 25 TV/ film productions, working with over 26 young filmmakers to develop their projects from concept to final cut. She lends her voice and skill as a facilitator at several film and storytelling workshops in Nigeria.

A seasoned casting director, Tope has managed casting projects for several brands including MTV Europe’s drama series, Shuga Seasons 3 & 4.

Tope has served as a 2015 Juror for the International Emmy Awards (tele-novella category), 2016 Africa MagicViewers Choice Awards, and 2015 Eko International Film Festival. She has been featured on CNN'S INSIDE AFRICA and CNN.COM, and on German DW Deutshe Welle TV while attending Berlinale 2015.


She is currently the CEO/Managing Director of Sunbow Productions, SunBow Cast, and Tope Oshin Productions.
